Rebates and financial support

If you have been medically diagnosed with alopecia, you may be eligible for a subsidy of up to $264 towards your next wig or hairpiece through the SWEP (State Wide Equipment Program). Visit the SWEP website to download the application form (found under ‘Wig Suppliers’ on this page), or contact them on 1300 747 937 to find out more. Your application must include a quotation which we are happy to provide. Please note, due to SWEP funding constraints, it may take up to six months before you receive approval for your application. We also recommend you read the Wig FAQs located below the application form.

If you are a Veteran Affairs Gold Card holder and have been diagnosed with alopecia you may be entitled to claim your wig and/or hairpiece. Please contact Veteran Affairs to see if you are eligible and phone us to discuss your entitlements.
